Location: Lysaker, Oslo, Norway
Overview: We are seeking a Drydock Superintendent to manage dry-docking projects for a cruise fleet, ensuring strong client relationships, environmental standards, and quality throughout the preparation, execution, and close-out phases. This role requires technical expertise and excellent organizational skills to handle the complex aspects of dry-docking while supporting the cruise team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review specifications and prepare budgets for dry-docking projects.
- Evaluate quotations, manage contracts with yards, and oversee overall planning.
- Conduct yard pre-docking visits in coordination with the Drydock Manager and Vessel Manager.
- Manage vessel/system modifications during dry-docking, in line with the Drydock Manager and Vessel Manager's requirements.
- Experience in technical management within a cruise ship-owner or ship management structure.
- Experience with new build projects and/or dry-docking.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues.
