We’re partnering with a highly respected ship owner/operator to find an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their team in Singapore. This is a rare opportunity to join a company known for its solid reputation, collaborative culture, and long-term stability.

What you'll be doing: You’ll play a key role in supporting vessel operations, performance, and compliance – acting as a critical link between ship and shore. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Monitoring daily weather updates for fleet vessels
  • Overseeing P&I and H&M insurance matters
  • Managing vessel registration and tonnage tax processes
  • Investigating crew incidents and illnesses
  • Handling post-fixture operations and supporting charterers, ship managers, and vessel teams
  • Managing cargo claims and marine incident investigations
  • Overseeing crew change planning and approvals
  • Tracking and closing out PSC inspections, ensuring Q88 updates, CII ratings, and Rightship scores
  • Supporting compliance with evolving regulations including EU-ETS
  • Monitoring vessel performance under charter party terms
What we're looking for:
  • You must have sailed as Master on foreign-going vessels (minimum 1 year)
  • Holding a valid Master (F.G.) CoC or equivalent maritime qualifications
  • Familiar with IMO regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, MLC)
  • Working knowledge of bulk carrier operations
  • Proficient in IMOS
  • Strong communicator, team player, and capable of mentoring junior staff
