Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical performance and daily operations of assigned vessels
- Lead scheduled maintenance, dry dockings, refits, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company standards
- Monitor vessel budgets and contribute to annual budget planning
- Liaise with procurement to ensure cost-effective supply of parts and services
- Provide leadership and support to onboard and onshore teams
- Drive continuous improvement and safety culture across operations
- Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (MEO Class 1) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience as Chief or Second Engineer (including at least 6 months as Chief Engineer)
- Experience with dry, oil, chemical or gas vessels preferred
- Previous people management experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of dry dockings, repairs, and vessel mobilizations
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Familiarity with classification society procedures and ISM compliance
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets effectively
