The Role:
In this role, you'll collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and provide guidance on our products and services. Your main focus will be driving the sales of our products, ensuring they meet customer requirements effectively. You'll also provide pre-sales support, conducting demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions. Working closely with the sales team, you'll offer technical expertise during the pre-sales process, aiding in proposal creation and solution design. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be essential, as you align our solutions with their business challenges. Internally, you'll collaborate to design tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Staying updated on industry trends and technologies, you'll provide strategic insights and prepare technical documentation to support the sales process, all while working towards achieving sales targets.
As this is a hybrid/remote positon with frequent travel to visit customers and clients we are considering this person to be based in the UK or North Western Europe where we have majority or our labs and offices.
About You: We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Professional to join the team. If you thrive on building customer relationships, have a keen interest in maritime technology, and enjoy the challenge of providing consultative guidance, then this opportunity is for you!
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Electronics, or a related field
- Experience in a similar technical sales role, with strong technical knowledge
- Prior experience in the maritime industry, preferably with knowledge of LNG vessels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to customers
