Faststream are partnered with a busy, industry leading provider of innovative maritime communication solutions, serving clients across the UK, USA, and other key regions. With a strong presence in the Oil & Gas and Offshore markets, they deliver comprehensive hardware, airtime, and smart service plans to ensure seamless connectivity for their customers. This role is office-based two days a week, with regular travel to meet customers required.
Responsibilities
- Generating new business from both new and existing clients, with a focus on promoting the company's holistic product offering in the Oil & Gas and Offshore markets.
- Working alongside the Business Development team to drive new sales across hardware, airtime, and smart service plans.
- Collaborating with the service department to promote and sell services to key maritime customers.
- Managing 2 members of staff.
- Handling sales enquiries and developing strong relationships with key accounts.
- Providing quotations, preparing account plans, and delivering accurate sales forecasts.
- Ensuring timely contract and purchase order management to meet customer deadlines.
- Participating in sales campaigns, exhibitions, and seminars to boost awareness of the company's offerings.
- Maintaining an up-to-date sales database and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Producing sales budgets, forecasts, and reports as required.
- A minimum of 2-4 years' team management experience.
- Strong customer focus with proven commercial awareness.
- Extensive experience selling maritime NAVCOM solutions.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand the company's products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to travel extensively, including potential international trips lasting up to two weeks.
- Ability to obtain and retain SC security clearance within the UK.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage with both engineers and C-suite professionals.
