The Faststream Recruitment Group, established in 1999 with over 100 employees, is the Global People Specialist in Shipping, Maritime, and Energy Recruitment. With office hubs in Southampton, UK, and Singapore, we deliver professional recruitment services and solutions to our clients and candidates in key maritime hubs across EMEA, Asia Pacific, and the Americas.

Due to significant market growth and continued success, this role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead our Offshore ‘Crewing’ recruitment business. You'll partner with the owners & operators of offshore vessels, helping our clients recruit seafarers and offshore crewing positions that work on deep-sea operations. Some of the roles you will recruit for include Master, 2nd Officer DPO, Instrument Technician, Chief Engineer, Crane Operator and Able Seaman.

You will be provide contract, and permanent recruitment services and solutions across Europe, using our established brand and success to leverage new client and candidate relationships

Building Your Candidate Network:

  • Ask insightful questions to understand motivations.

Managing Your Clients:

  • Strategically place candidates for mutual satisfaction.

  • Ensure supportive communication throughout the process.

  • Proactively engage with clients, staying abreast of industry trends.

New Business Development:

  • Convert objections into opportunities for collaboration.

  • Foster teamwork to achieve collective goals and celebrate successes.

Running Your Business:

  • Maintain a proactive, results-driven mindset.

  • Prioritize relationship-building and meaningful connections.

  • Trust intuition in decision-making, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Base Salary: Ranging from £24,000 to £30,000+ (experience-dependent).

  • On-Target Earnings: Achievable earnings of up to £60,000 per annum including base salary, commission & bonuses.
