The Opportunity
The Faststream Recruitment Group was established in 1999, employs over 100 people and is a global people specialist in Maritime, Shipping and Energy recruitment. We operate across key maritime locations in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East & Africa and the Americas, delivering to our clients and candidates worldwide.
As a Recruitment Consultant at Faststream, you'll help our clients to source and recruit for various positions including shipbrokers, traders, charterers, operations managers, and senior management roles.
About the Job: This is a busy high-fee, high potential desk that offers an established client based and extensive business development opportunities for further growth.
Building Your Candidate Network:
Ask insightful questions to understand motivations.
Source and prepare talent for interview success.
Align candidate aspirations with opportunities.
Managing Your Clients:
Strategically place candidates for mutual satisfaction.
Ensure supportive communication throughout the process.
Proactively engage with clients, staying abreast of industry trends.
New Business Development:
Cultivate client relationships through effective communication.
Convert objections into opportunities for collaboration.
Foster teamwork to achieve collective goals and celebrate successes.
Running Your Business:
Maintain a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Prioritize relationship-building and meaningful connections.
Trust intuition in decision-making, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Salary & Benefits:
Base salary between $4,000-$6,000 SGD per month, depending on experience
OTE (On Target Earnings with commission) of up to $120,000+ annually
Zero threshold/uncapped commission scheme
23 days annual leave plus public holidays (34 days per annum)
