An exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Engineer to join the market leader in clean marine technology, Silverstream Technologies.

Company: Silverstream Technologies was founded in 2010 with the aim of optimising fuel efficiency in the Maritime sector using air lubrication technology. The Silverstream® System is a proven energy saving technology, delivering 5-10% net fuel and emissions savings and can be used on both retrofit and newbuild vessels. Air lubrication is a strategically important technology which addresses the immediate decarbonisation requirements and the operational efficiency challenges emanating from future energy transitions.

Location: Chandlers Ford, Southampton Office OR London HQ, Marylebone.

Reporting to: Head of Integrated Business Planning

This role will suit someone who has expertise in data driven approaches to reporting, project data analysis, project / business controls processes, alongside good numerical skills, attention to detail
and a desire to learn.

Maintaining a close and positive working relationship with all functions is critical to the success of the role, as is a high degree of clarity, accuracy, and speed in the delivery of business level reports.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in project management and project reporting within a data driven environment.

  • Able to engage, report, analyse and present decisions into the clear reporting workflow.

  • Positive, optimistic, and flexible personality with “can do” attitude.

  • Enjoy working within a growing integrated business planning function.

  • Willing to learn, grow and progress with the company.

  • Knowledge of basic engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning information.

  • Knowledge of Project Execution processes and good practices including Microsoft Project as a platform.

  • Skilled at organising workload and an ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

  • Skilled at data and information presentation.

  • Skilled in analytical and numerical analysis and forecasting.

  • Skilled in the use of the Microsoft suite of products; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word.

  • Skilled in data structures for relational databases and SQL or MySQL databases.

  • 2nd Stage Interview - Face to Face (Southampton or London)
