Calling all oil & gas sales folks in Kuala Lumpur! We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager for a leading provider of oil & gas services. This role is based in Malaysia and focuses on expanding market presence, driving revenue growth, and strengthening relationships within the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Market Strategy & Growth – Conduct market analysis, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to expand the company’s presence in Malaysia’s oil & gas sector.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management – Build and nurture relationships with E&P operators, EPC contractors, FPSO operators, and vessel owners to drive long-term business.
Proposal Development & Tendering – Lead bid submissions, develop tailored proposals, and ensure competitive pricing strategies.
Project Coordination – Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that align with client needs and industry standards.
Industry Networking & Branding – Represent the company at conferences and industry events to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
Revenue & Performance Management – Drive sales growth, monitor key performance metrics, and ensure financial targets are met.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure business activities adhere to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience – 5–7 years in business development within oil & gas services, with a proven track record in sales, client management, and contract negotiations.
Education - Bachelors degree in engineering, business, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, including engineering solutions, lifting, and subsea services.
Technical Expertise – Familiarity with drilling, pipeline maintenance, offshore operations, and equipment supply.
Soft Skills – Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Travel & Flexibility – Willingness to travel and engage with clients across the region.
Working Conditions:
Based in Malaysia, with travel to client sites, industry events, and project locations as required.
Occasional work outside of regular office hours to meet deadlines and business needs.
