- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends within the Marine sector. Analyze data to forecast market potential and make informed business decisions.
- Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the maritime industry – shipowners, operators, and regulatory bodies – and leverage these relationships to create new business opportunities.

Commercial Operations Oversight: Oversee the seamless execution of marine-related commercial operations, ensuring the preparation of accurate quotations, contract documentation, and invoice reconciliation tailored to maritime projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our regional, zone, and global Marine teams to support local business development initiatives and champion a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Your analytical skills will enable you to propose innovative marine solutions and ensure prompt resolution of client requests and queries.
Deliver Presentations and Seminars: Take the lead in planning, organizing, and delivering impactful presentations and technical seminars focused on marine industry trends and technologies.

- Degree in Engineering, preferably in the Marine/Offshore field, with a minimum of 8 years of work experience in the industry, including 5 years in a commercial and managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in competitive markets.
- Excellent communication, networking, influencing, and organizational skills, as well as a strong interpersonal ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Independent and determined, resourceful, highly driven and results-oriented, with hands-on experience, strong technical and analytical skills.
- Capacity to thrive in fast-pacing and high-pressure situations and possess a keen business acumen. Ability to inspire and motivate team members and stakeholders.

- Experience working at sea, in shipyards, with ship owners, oil and gas companies, ship brokers, or with classification societies is an added advantage.
