Seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join a reputable Classification Society as the Vice President of Global Sustainability. This pivotal role will be the voice of sustainability, driving global business development strategies and holding responsibility for operating and capital budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of global sustainability strategies.
- Oversee and manage teams across multiple Sustainability Centers globally.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, promoting sustainability capabilities through products and services.
- Represent the organization at industry events, symposiums and conferences.
- Extensive experience in maritime sustainability, abreast of decarbonization and green shipping initiatives.
- Strong understanding and experience within a maritime engineering and/or consulting organization.
- Proven experience as a profit leader, with leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and client relations abilities.
- International experience and a proven track record in business development.
