We are looking for an experienced Investor Relations Manager/Senior Manager with a strong background in the shipping industry to oversee investor and market engagement activities.
This role involves preparing key corporate communications, such as quarterly and annual reports, sustainability updates, and disclosures, while maintaining relationships with investors, analysts, and key external stakeholders.
As a key representative, you'll collaborate closely with senior leadership to communicate the company’s financial strategy and growth. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance and plays an integral role in shaping investor relations within the shipping sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investor Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for investors and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate communication of financial performance and strategy within the shipping industry.
- Reporting & Analysis: Develop financial and market reports, including stock performance, competitor analysis, and industry outlooks, with a focus on shipping metrics and trends.
- Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and ESG standards, and contribute to governance reports such as the Director’s Report and Chairman’s/CEO’s messages.
- Disclosure Management: Oversee the timely publication of key updates, including acquisitions, disposals, and material contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Market Insights: Provide senior management with insights into shipping market trends, competitor activities, and shareholder sentiment to inform decision-making.
- Investor Database: Maintain an updated and accessible database of investor-related information, including share performance, dividend policies, and shipping-specific metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Additional certifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA) are a plus.
- Must have experience in the shipping industry, with a strong understanding of shipping metrics, trends, and regulations.
