Your Role:
As a Vetting Manager, you’ll be the key link between the HSSEQ team, captains, and technical departments, ensuring fleet-wide compliance and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and preparing for vetting inspections under SIRE 2.0 and CDI schemes
- Promoting a strong safety culture onboard and across the fleet
- Ensuring fleet compliance with operational standards, legislation, and best practices
- Reviewing and developing navigational audit plans
- Enhancing TMSA levels in line with SMS
- Participating in industry associations like INTERTANKO
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience with chemical tankers or in a tanker shipping company
- Passion for safety, compliance, and operational excellence
- Strong communicator and team player who enjoys networking
- Fluent in German & English
- Must have the right to live and work in Germany
- Willingness to travel
