The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing global procurement of spare parts, consumables, and services, coordinating with Technical Superintendents and vessel crews, negotiating supplier terms, overseeing deliveries, arranging technical services, and handling bulk orders for class renewals, among various other duties.
Your Profile:
- Experience within a shipping or logistics business
- Knowledge of experience in technical purchasing or a similar role ideally from the maritime industry.
- Knowledge or experience in Procurement
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Highly organised
- Fluent in written and spoken business English.
