We’re looking for a Technical Officer to join a well-established ship management company, supporting a global fleet with key responsibilities in
purchasing, coordination, and technical documentation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Vessel Manager with daily technical operations.
- Managing the procurement of spare parts and consumables for vessels.
- Coordinating logistics for supplies and services, ensuring smooth delivery to the ship.
- Keeping track of technical operating costs, verifying invoices and DAs.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of vessel certificates, drawings, manuals, and periodic reporting.
- Assisting with routine repairs and maintaining internal document control.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a ship management, ship owning, or vessel purchasing department.
- Good knowledge of vessel spare parts procurement and logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ShipNet / Eyeshare is a plus.
- A responsible, meticulous team player who thrives under pressure.
