Are you a Mechanical Engineer or someone who has worked within a Surveyor role looking after various times of equipment in the Maritime industry?
Faststream is currently looking for an Material & Components Surveyor to join a leading classification society. They are looking for someone to join the team in Northern France or Belgium. You will be working within our clients Certification/Verification of Materials and Components (CMC/VMC) team.
The Role:
As a Senior Surveyor, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring that materials and components meet the highest standards. This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and customer engagement. You will be based remotely for this position with majority of your work coming from traveling to clients manufacturing sites and when required attending the offices.
The Person:
- Familiarity with certification processes, ships in service, and auditing standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
- Team player, eager to be involved and develop and adapt to a digitalised future
The Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- 6–10 years of experience in the maritime or offshore industry.
- Proficiency in English; French skills preferred.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or marine engineering.
