This is a 6 month contract opportunity with the potential to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Design and plan efficient offshore methods for heavy lift installation and removal projects. Create detailed designs for lifting arrangements, identify necessary equipment, and manage overall project technical preparation.
- Engage in technical project preparation and execution support for various offshore projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in all phases.
- Oversee and review both internal and external deliverables such as drawings, reports, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare subcontractor Scopes of Work, detailed reports, and input for installation manuals that align with the project's requirements.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the organization, identify improvement opportunities, and support a culture of continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in engineering, project preparation, and execution of offshore projects, particularly in installation engineering.
- Willing to work temporarily at offshore yards, on vessels, or in various office locations as necessary.
- Must have right to work in the UK.
