Role Overview:
Location: Dubai
Focus: Container Vessels
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Pricing Management: Oversee daily pricing matters to meet budget requirements.
- Space Control: Manage daily space control and operational tasks to achieve budgetary goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Organise regular meetings with international offices to discuss performance and market information, and develop pricing and space strategies.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate with Port of Loading offices regarding vessel utilisation and market conditions. Coordinate with relevant parties for operational matters, including schedule recovery and void sailing.
- Container Management: Collaborate with the Container Flow Management team for container repositioning.
Who We're Looking For:
- Education: Graduate degree in Commercial Management or Marketing preferred; Shipping Certification is also acceptable.
- Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience, with regional or global role experience being an added advantage.
- Special Skills: In-depth knowledge of the shipping industry, sales experience, and Regional Headquarter (RHQ) work experience. Strong communication skills are essential.
- Job-Specific Skills: Proficiency in Change Management, Business Acumen, Coaching/Mentoring, and Analytical Skills.
- Behavioral Competencies: Achievement-oriented, strategic thinking, solution-oriented, team working skills, and highly self-motivated.
