Faststream are proud to be working with a Global leader in the OEM Marine space, who are looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager to work in their Hamburg office.

What We're Looking For
This role is for a driven Sales or Account Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing their market-leading position, particularly within the new build engines, propellers/ propulsion and or in their service/ aftermarket division.

As a Sales Manager, you will identify and pursue new opportunities, lead sales activities, and close deals with both existing and new clients/ customers. This company are looking for someone who comes from either a Marine Sales background or Marine Engineering background, any knowledge or experience selling marine power, engines or propulsion would be beneficial.  The ideal person will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of the marine sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain close relationships with existing and new customers to drive sales of products, services, and solutions.
  • Lead and manage owner accounts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Focus on delivering Service Projects and Performance Agreements to the customer base.
  • Oversee and participate in sales projects, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Set performance targets and collaborate with the GM Sales to review progress.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system with opportunity pipeline
  • Expand the local market by developing relationships with local shipowners and increasing the install base.
