Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage procurement operations to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as SOLAS and MARPOL, for all purchased items.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions, verifying availability, pricing, and suitability.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and efficiency in procurement.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders and supplier agreements.
  • Work closely with technical and operational teams to meet vessel supply requirements.
  • Resolve supply chain issues and ensure a seamless procurement process.
Key Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in procurement, preferably in the maritime or technical supply industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control strategies.
  • Ability to assess and source high-quality products that meet regulatory standards.
  • Proven track record of leading procurement teams and driving process improvements.
