Faststream are working with a major subsea energy business to add a Principal Field Development Engineer to their team. The successful candidate will focus on the development and optimisation of subsea field projects, encompassing both oil and gas and offshore wind. This is a hybrid role based out of Aberdeen.

- Lead the engineering design and development of subsea field projects, including oil and gas and offshore wind.
- Develop and optimise field development plans, including subsea layouts, flow assurance, and system architecture.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on subsea production systems, including wellheads, pipelines, manifolds, and subsea processing equipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support project decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- Strong Pre FEED experience within field development
- Experience in a similar role within subsea industry
- Must have right to work in the UK
