We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join the team at a leading Ship Agency based in Hamburg.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee port operations, including vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo handling
- Liaise with port authorities, customs, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and smooth operational processes
- Monitor and track vessel movements, ensuring timely updates to all relevant parties
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries promptly
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, ensuring satisfaction and building long-term relationships
- Manage and review all relevant documentation, including shipping manifests, customs forms, and other operational paperwork
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and implement best practices for documentation procedures
- Collaborate with various departments, such as logistics, finance, and procurement, to streamline operations
- You will have the right to work in Germany and hold a German driving license
- You will be able to speak fluently in German and English
- You have experience working in the shipping industry and have a passion to grow within the sector
