A leading offshore services provider is seeking a dynamic Operations Coordinator to join their Hamburg-based team, supporting cutting-edge operations for projects across Europe.

The Role:
As Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of offshore wind vessel operations, working closely with vessel crews, technical teams, and onshore support staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily activities. You will manage port call scheduling, operational planning, and support the Operations Director and vessel Masters in driving digital transformation across the fleet. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) best practices will be a core part of your responsibilities, as well as participation in the company’s Emergency Response Team. You will play a key role in fleet expansion and performance tracking using digital tools while coordinating vessel movements with client marine and offshore logistics teams. This hands-on role requires excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced maritime environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience in maritime, offshore wind, or offshore oil & gas operations (or be looking to grow into the role)
- A background in marine operations – either at sea or in vessel management (offshore wind, oil & gas, shipping)
- Relevant qualifications – Marine Deck or Engineer Officer certification, or a degree in Shipping, Offshore Logistics, Marine Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- A tech-savvy mindset – Familiarity with digital vessel management tools is a plus
- Strong communication & teamwork skills – Ability to collaborate across departments and stakeholders
- A driver’s license for occasional travel
