We are currently seeking an experienced HR Director for a rapidly growing and dynamic company in the maritime sector, operating across multiple locations. This senior leadership position, based in Athens, will oversee HR functions across all offices and work closely with the CEO and COO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR strategy, organisational development, and compliance, with a focus on creating and implementing robust HR systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment and payroll processes across multiple locations
- Develop and implement new policies and procedures, including employee benefits and compliance frameworks
- Act as a liaison between employees and the executive team, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of HR matters
- Create and enforce HR best practices to ensure legal compliance and a positive company culture
Candidate Profile:
- Fluent in Greek and currently based in Greece
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Around 8 years of experience in HR (industry experience not limited to maritime)
- Proven experience in dealing with senior management, including C-suite executives
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and organisational development
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals
