Location: Oslo, Norway
Overview: We are seeking a Hotel Superintendent to oversee the interior quality and appearance of a cruise fleet. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong asset management skills to maintain high standards across a diverse fleet of vessels. The position reports to the Fleet Manager/Cruise Fleet, with additional functional reporting to the Vessel Managers and Drydock Manager.
About the Role: As part of a dynamic international team, you will be responsible for ensuring that hotel interiors across the fleet meet the highest quality standards, aligning with business objectives and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fleet standards for hotel interior maintenance and inspection routines, ensuring alignment with best practices and experience sharing.
- Manage the equipment and furniture renewal program across the fleet.
- Provide expertise and support for both planned and unplanned repairs and maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
- Select and establish service contracts in collaboration with global procurement, managing supplier costs, quality, and performance.
- Oversee hotel refits and refurbishments, including defining scope, budget, and specifications, ensuring adherence to class and flag requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture (ideally naval), maritime engineering, or cruise ship interior design, or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 5 years of experience in cruise ship accommodation construction and operations, or luxury hotel facility management.
- Shore-based experience is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
