On behalf of our client, a leader in the shipping and logistics sector, we’re searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Global Sales Management (GSM) team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting and owning projects across GSM and various cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely achievement of key outcomes. Working closely with the GSM Team Lead, you’ll drive data-driven insights for BCO and NVO teams, propose value-added initiatives aligned with Trade and Strategic Yield Management goals, and help implement impactful sales strategies for Global Key Accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver GSM projects, acting as the primary project owner
- Develop data-driven insights to support sales initiatives
- Align with Trade Management to propose and implement value-added projects
- Support sales strategies to boost the sales pipeline for BCO/NVO segments
- Enhance process efficiencies within GSM and support customer-facing activities to strengthen relationships
- Take part in ad-hoc projects and special initiatives
- Degree in a relevant discipline
- 5-6 years of experience in the liner shipping/logistics industry
- Proven background in sales and business development
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple work streams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of Salesforce and the liner business is a plus
