Job Description

I am exclusively supporting a leading global organisation who own and operate a large fleet of offshore vessels. They have an exciting opportunity to bring on a new Electrical Superintendent (DP) into their team in Aberdeen, UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the electrical systems and DP status of the assigned offshore vessels. You will carry our DP verification trails, review and ensure all DP FMEAs are aligned with industry and statutory guidelines as well as work closely with the dry docking teams to ensure any maintenance requirements and updates are completed as required, amongst various other related duties.  

The ideal candidate will have:-
  • Strong electrical background
  • Extensive experience of DP systems
  • Experience as a controls specialist
  • Offshore ETO experience desirable  - can take someone straight from sea with Offshore vessel experience 
  • Konsberg and/or Rolls Royce experience highly desirable
  • Ability to be based permanently in Aberdeen
