As a member of the Cruise Staff, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging experience for guests by hosting and facilitating a variety of entertainment activities, social events, and games, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and maintaining a lively atmosphere throughout the voyage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead entertainment activities such as trivia, dance classes, karaoke, theme nights, and sports tournaments.
- Host and co-host live events, games, and shows for passengers of all ages.
- Engage with guests to promote participation in onboard programs and activities.
- Assist in coordinating shore excursions and embarkation/disembarkation processes.
- Act as an ambassador for the cruise line, providing excellent customer service and addressing guest inquiries or concerns.
- Work closely with the Cruise Director and Entertainment team to ensure smooth execution of scheduled events.
- Conduct safety briefings and participate in emergency drills as required.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and maritime safety regulations.
- Maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout long work shifts.
- Previous experience in hospitality/entertainment or cruise vessel.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Outgoing, energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with diverse groups of guests and encourage participation.
- Proficiency in an additional European Language is very advantageous.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and move equipment as needed.
