Responsibilities:
- Handle various claims for owners and members in adherence to club policies, ensuring swift and cost-effective resolutions.
- Foster strong relationships with members, assureds, and brokers, delivering exceptional service at all times.
- Collaborate closely with claims and underwriting colleagues, as well as Loss Prevention, within the sector.
- Assist in audits and peer reviews, contributing to the enhancement of claims handling processes.
- Support the Sector in creating and sustaining a high-performing team environment, while liaising with enabling functions.
- Basic understanding of shipping terms and operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite with adaptability to new technologies.
- Strong administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities, capable of managing demanding workloads.
- Self-motivated and proactive with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate client needs and collaborate across geographical sectors.
- Basic knowledge of claims matters and P&I rules.
- Background in law, technical expertise in maritime operations, or relevant Maritime industry experience.
