Duties include:
- Sourcing and purchasing bunker fuels from various suppliers in the market
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive prices and favorable payment terms
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Monitoring market trends and developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Providing timely and accurate information and pricing to internal and external parties
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of services to clients.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Maritime Business, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bunker trading or a related field
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with shipping and trading software
- Good knowledge of the bunker industry, regulations, and market trends
