Job Description

Faststream are looking for an experienced Deckhand/ Able Seaman to join one of the multicat vessels in a large fleet based in the UK.
  
Position: AB Role
Location: UK Waters
Salary: £209 per day
Rotation: 4-week rotations (Temp to Perm)
Joining Date: 22nd April

Key Responsibilities:
  • Buoy & anchor work on deck
  • Rotational cooking
Requirements:
  • AB certificate
  • STCW Personal Survival Techniques
  • STCW Basic Fire Prevention and Firefighting
  • STCW Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities
  • STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
  • STCW Security Awareness
  • STCW Designated Security Duties
  • Elementary First Aid aboard ships
  • Navigational Watch Rating Certificate
If you have any of the below certificates that would be a great benefit to your application 
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
  • Enclosed Space training
  • Ships Cook Certificate of Competency
  • Welding/Burning certificate or equivalent
  • Abrasive Wheels certificate or equivalent
  • HIAB Crane certificate or equivalent
  • UK work permit required
