This role involves delivering expert financial administration, management, and reporting for our clients' yachts. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of each yacht's income and expenses, the ability to create budgets, and the capability to provide clear and concise variance analysis to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for yacht owners, their representatives, captains, and crew members.
- Prepare and deliver regular client reports (monthly/quarterly).
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Maintain and update systems, including cloud-based software.
- Handle frequent administration of invoices and payments, including urgent requests.
- Conduct regular bank, card, and cash reconciliations.
- Manage charter accounting, including charter sales invoices, fiscal representatives, local VAT returns, and other related filings.
- Support other yacht services, including crew employment and payroll.
- Collaborate with the yacht management team to solve problems and offer additional services as needed.
- Assist the corporate accounting function to ensure alignment in financial statement returns and cash flow management.
- Provide operational management services when required.
- Attend conferences and shows as necessary.
- Experience working in the superyacht industry either on-board or shore-based.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
- Availability to travel to clients and events worldwide.
- Part-qualified in accounting is desirable.
