The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Vetting Superintendent to join the team in London. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of vessels with industry standards and best practices, focusing on vetting inspections and audits. Your role will involve preparing vessels for Oil Major vettings, reviewing reports, and implementing necessary corrective actions. You will also liaise closely with key stakeholders, including shipowners, crews, and external authorities, to maintain the highest operational and safety standards.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in maritime operations, with previous experience as a Vetting Superintendent, Master Mariner, or Chief Engineer on tankers or large vessels. You will have an in depth knowledge of industry standards, including OCIMF and SIRE, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. A proactive and solution oriented approach is essential, alongside the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multinational environment.
