- Assume full accountability for ensuring the secure technical operations of a designated fleet of tanker vessels.
- Overseeing and managing dry-dockings and repairs, conducting thorough vessel inspections, leading technical investigations, and ensuring that the certification and documentation of vessels under your purview are not only current but also compliant with international safety standards.
- Diligently track and analyze daily vessel energy consumption to optimize commercial performance, intervening promptly when necessary.
- Promote and instill a culture of safety within the shipboard team, serving as an inspirational leader in this regard.
- Exercise prudent financial management by overseeing budgets allocated to vessels and generating regular comprehensive reports.
- Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
- Minimum 3 years sailing experience as Chief Engineer on tankers with Diesel Engine Propulsion
