Vessel Manager

I am currently exclusively supporting a leading vessel operator to hire a Vessel Manager in Liverpool, UK to manage the operation of a variety of offshore vessels.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the operation of the vessels ensuring they are maintained in line with class and flag. You will holds budgetary responsibility, manage the relationship with the client and be responsible for the overall operation of the vessels.

The ideal candidate will have:-

Chief Engineer unlimited COC (Lower Engineering Unlimited tickets considered)
Sea going experience on offshore vessels – other vessel experience considered
Shore based experience desirable but not essential
Strong docking and project management experience
Experienced at coordinating and managing maintenance, repairs, and surveys
Strong budget management experience

In order to be considered you must be prepared to be based permanently in the UK – ideally within commuting distance to Liverpool. Hybrid and remote working options can be arranged for the right candidate but some office presence will still be required.
