Faststream Recruitment is looking for a seasoned Technical Superintendent to join a reputable ship owner and operator based in Southampton.
This position requires a candidate with extensive technical expertise and hands-on experience in managing vessels. You will collaborate closely with an established team, reporting directly to the Head of Technical.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Second Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a small ship operator / management company
- Experience with any of the following vessel types is highly desirable: Offshore Support / Supply, Dredging, Tugs, Ro-Ro’s, High-speed
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, especially those involving infrastructure and refits.
- Strong communication skills are essential for managing team dynamics and ensuring smooth operations.
