Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and resolve technical issues on board, liaising directly with the Technical Director.
- Oversee vessel OPEX, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with statutory and class regulations.
- Coordinate dry-docking, repairs, and equipment maintenance to avoid operational delays.
- Promote and enforce safety, quality, and environmental management onboard.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and report on vessel conditions and performance.
- Marine Chief Engineer STCW III/2 (>3000KW).
- Minimum 2 years' experience as C/E on vessels >10,000 GT, with at least 1 year on tankers.
- 1 year of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
