- Adhere to the company's HSEQ policies for safe, secure, and environmentally responsible service.
- Manage vessel and machinery activities for safe operations.
- Conduct safety and technical audits, vetting, and incident investigations.
- Provide timely technical advice for reliable and safe operations.
- Manage vessels in line with the company's policies and industry standards for operational readiness and safety.
- Drive industry-best standards for vessel operations and repairs through data analysis.
- Ensure timely reporting and corrective actions for system failures or deficiencies.
- Monitor planned maintenance compliance and assist in technical analysis for new equipment.
- Contribute to process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage annual maintenance and operations budgets.
- Prepare vessels for inspections and audits, including SIRE inspections.
- Prepare and track vessel budgets with personnel.
- Manage performance evaluations of senior ship staff.
- Coordinate with operations, crewing, training, and performance.
- Maximize vessel availability for trading by minimizing downtime.
- Ensure timely approvals and responses for operational tasks and crewing issues.
- Resolve technical issues and propose solutions.
