What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the full technical management of assigned vessels—including budget control, performance, and maintenance
- Acting as the key shore-based contact for day-to-day technical operations, liaising with onboard crews and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and class regulations, managing survey schedules and certifications
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising ship repair and dry dock activities
- Leading investigations into technical incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Driving ongoing improvements in maintenance systems, vessel performance, and operational efficiency
- Providing support during vessel mobilisations, condition assessments, and insurance claims when required
- DP Semi-Submersibles
- Diving Support Vessels (DSVs)
- Pipelay and Heavy Construction Vessels
- And other technically complex offshore units
- Prior experience as a Technical Superintendent or a similar role supporting complex offshore vessels
- Sound understanding of marine systems, class requirements, and offshore vessel operations
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Ability to manage dry docks, breakdowns, and budget oversight confidently
- Strong team player who’s also able to work independently when needed
