What You’ll Be Doing
  • Fleet Management: Overseeing the technical operations of dry bulk carriers and tankers, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
  • Budget Oversight: Preparing and managing budgets, finding cost-effective solutions without compromising on safety or quality.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analysing and enhancing vessel performance, ensuring smooth operations across the fleet.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving technical challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with crews, ship owners, and external parties to deliver outstanding results.
What You Bring to the Role
  • A COC Class 1 (Chief Engineer) certification with solid sea-going experience on dry bulk carriers/ tankers.
  • Hands-on technical knowledge of vessel operations and maintenance.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
