An established maritime company is looking for an experienced Technical Superintendent to manage the technical operations of its mixed fleet. The role involves ensuring vessel maintenance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee vessel maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations
- Manage technical budgets and reports
- Liaise with classification societies and regulatory bodies
- Provide technical support to the crew and shore teams
- Experience as a Technical Superintendent, ideally with dry bulk, also open to ship to shore opportunity for a sailing Chief Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations
- Ability to travel as needed
- German speaking.
