Are you a Technical Superintendent with a solid track record on tanker vessels? Our client, a global leader in ship management, is seeking a dedicated Technical Superintendent to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of their fleet. This role offers the opportunity to oversee vessel maintenance, repairs, and performance, while ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and operational support to vessels, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, class requirements, and international regulations.
  • Oversee daily maintenance, repairs, and procurement of spares and stores for assigned vessels.
  • Ensure timely vessel certifications, surveys, and inspections, with minimal third-party observations.
  • Monitor vessel performance, analyze operational data, and maintain asset value.
  • Manage operating costs within budget while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Attend vessels during surveys and escalate any significant issues to management.
Key Requirements:
  • Chief Engineer sailing on tanker vessels
  • Minimum of 2 years of shore experience as a Technical Superintendent.
  • Experienced with handling Chemical vessels (Type 1-3).
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
