Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and digitise IACS procedures, IT systems, and technical databases.
- Manage technical staff and liaise with senior stakeholders globally.
- Coordinate and deliver Council and GPG meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain technical records, resolutions, and publications, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility.
- Respond to external technical requests and prepare impactful presentations and documents.
- Represent IACS at international meetings and foster industry collaboration.
This pivotal role demands an experienced professional with:
- In-depth knowledge of naval architecture, marine engineering, or regulatory frameworks within the maritime industry.
- Ability to manage complex technical and legislative matters under scrutiny.
- Proven capacity to engage with international regulators, industry executives, and civil society with diplomacy.
- Willingness to dedicate at least five years, with some international travel.
- Strong technical and regulatory acumen within the maritime sector.
