We are partnering with a well-established Singapore-based shipping company on a search for an experienced Technical Manager to lead and oversee its technical department. This is a key leadership role within the organisation, responsible for managing a fleet of bunker tankers and a team of Technical Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Technical Superintendents to ensure smooth daily operations and technical performance of the fleet.
Oversee maintenance standards, budgeting, dry-docking, and compliance with industry and company regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and crewing to ensure seamless fleet management.
Maintain high standards of safety, technical reliability, and cost-effectiveness across all assigned vessels.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the technical function.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of proven experience leading a team of Technical Superintendents in a ship management setup.
Holds a valid Class 1 Certificate of Competency (COC) with a strong Oil Tanker background.
Solid understanding of the technical, regulatory, and commercial aspects of ship management.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and inspire high-performing teams.
