As Technical Director, you will oversee the entire technical management of the company’s fleet of bulk carriers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the vessels are properly maintained and compliant with safety regulations, managing budgets, and optimizing technical performance. You’ll lead teams across technical, marine, HSEQ, purchasing, and crewing departments, ensuring efficient operations and cost-effective strategies. Additionally, you will act as the key liaison with clients and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and ensuring high standards are met across all operations.
Key Requirements

Key Requirements
- Former Chief Engineer, ideally with bulk carriers, and a solid understanding of vessel operations at a senior technical level.
- Proven track record in senior shore-based technical management within the maritime sector, with experience leading complex technical and operational functions.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple departments (technical, HSEQ, purchasing, and crewing) at a strategic level, driving performance and efficiency.
- Deep knowledge of maritime safety, compliance, and regulatory standards, with the ability to enforce these across the organization.
- Fluent in Mandarin, with the ability to engage effectively with local teams, clients, and stakeholders in a multinational environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and execute strategic goals in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
