Whether you've sailed as an engineer or have solid technical operations experience, this is your chance to progress into a key role supporting vessel managers, coordinating technical services, and ensuring smooth operations. The role offers progression to Assistant Technical superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to vessel managers in technical maintenance and repairs
- Ensure all surveys and certificates are up to date
- Coordinate routine repairs and service attendances for vessels
- Assist with dry-docking projects and track capital modifications
- Manage technical reports, vessel certificates, and maintenance records
- Technical operations experience
- Preferably someone with a strong engineering background (sailing experience would be a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective time management and decision-making skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a focus on effective communication
- Willingness to provide after-hours support as needed to meet business demands
