In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through your strategic account management approach.
As an integral member of the sales team, you will contribute to the success of our solutions by understanding customer needs and effectively communicating the value proposition of our client’s Ship Performance offerings.
YOUR TASKS AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE THE FOLLOWING:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within the maritime industry. Understand their operational challenges and objectives to position The company as a trusted partner.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Strategic Account Development: Identify potential growth opportunities within existing accounts. Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and align our solutions to address those needs effectively.
- New Business Generation: Proactively identify and target potential clients through market research, networking events, and industry insights. Develop a pipeline of prospective clients and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
- Solution Expertise: Gain an in-depth understanding of The company's Ship Performance's SaaS solutions and how they can solve specific maritime challenges. Effectively communicate the unique value proposition to clients, both in one-on-one interactions and during presentations.
- Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Leverage this knowledge to drive innovation in our offerings and stay ahead in the market.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure successful delivery of solutions and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a skilled and driven Sales Representative with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with account management or sales in SaaS in maritime industry. Proficiency in both written and spoken English Is essential. A Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field would be preferred.
