- Develop sales action plans, budgets, and KPIs to ensure forecasted sales and operating profit targets are met.
- Lead and manage the local Marine sales team effectively.
- Expand market share through prospecting, client visits, regular follow-ups, and building strong customer relationships.
- Achieve or exceed individual and segment sales turnover targets within the Marine segment.
- Oversee receivables, days of sales outstanding (DOS), and customer risk in alignment with company guidelines and budget objectives.
- Ensure all business transactions contribute positively to profit margins.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports while executing activities to meet monthly sales goals.
- Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate customer information.
- Develop and manage the annual budget for assigned customers.
- Gather and share market and competitor intelligence to support team strategy and decision-making.
- At least 15 years of prior experience in the marine industry
- Proven sales track record and has experience in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Experience with managing large corporations would be a plus
