Trimline is a globally recognized leader in marine interior outfitting, specializing in the cruise, ferry, and defence sectors. They are renowned for delivering high-quality refits and outfitting services that exceed their clients' expectations.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in marine outfitting or shipbuilding to join their dynamic team. This role will initially focus on managing multi-million-pound refits, with a vision to support the Director of Projects in overseeing other project managers, and assisting with the implementation of training and processes. The ideal candidate is someone who can grow into a role overseeing all company projects in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver high-value marine interior outfitting projects, specifically refits over £5m.
- Oversee and support other project managers, ensuring the highest standards of project execution.
- Develop and implement training programs for junior roles, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Utilize advanced technology and IT systems to streamline project processes and improve efficiency.
- Commit to working away from home for approximately 3 to 4 months per year, spread across a 12-month period.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in outfitting interiors on cruise ships, with a proven track record of managing projects over £5m.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing other managers.
- Passion for training and developing junior team members.
- Advanced skills in technology and IT systems, particularly in a custom software environment.
