Faststream are working with an International EPC Construction business who focus on the design of LNG/ LPG tanks for the Petrochem industry. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join their team in North East of England.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in either Chemical or Process Engineering and should be on the way to Chartership. You will be part of the process design team and will be responsible for the process safety aspects of any projects from FEED through to EPC and commissioning. You will also be acting as a Lead Engineer on smaller projects. You will be providing support on all aspects of Process Safety within the design of liquified gas storage projects.
Key focus will include:
- Determination and design of Fire and explosion prevention
- Understanding of safety releases
- Familiar with PHAST Software for radiation and dispersion modelling
- A good knowledge of API and NFPA codes
